Explanation of Inputs  
   
1. Number of Computers.
The number of computers you want to use in the comparison. This is usually either the total number of computers in your company or on a specific section of the network.
 
   
2. Currently Using Power Management
Studies have shown that without a targeted program the number of users with ENERGY STAR monitor power management features enabled is around 55%.
 
   
3. Future use of Power Management
The expected number of users with ENERGY STAR monitor power management features enabled after a target program.
 
   
4. Hours of Use Per Day
The number of hours the average computer using employee is at work and could potentially be using their computer, typically 9 hours for single shift operations and more for multi-shift environments where computers are shared between workers on different shifts.
 
   
5. Days of Use Per Week
The usual number of days per week people are at work using their computers, typically 5 corresponding to Monday through Friday.
 
   
6. Percent Turned off Nights & Weekends
Studies have shown that without a targeted program the number of users who turn their computers off at night is around 35%.
 
   
7. Future Percent Turned off Nights & Weekends
The expected number of users who will turn their computers off at night after a target program.
